At The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary, we inspire Koi Keeping of both domestic and imported koi. Our mission is to Import, Rescue, Heal, Adopt and Educate on Holistic Koi Care tm and Preserve the Japanese History of these Living Jewels, the Nishikigoi.

I learned everything I know about Koi from a friend named Mark and an amazing Japanese Koi importer that I still work with & purchase Japanese Koi from today. I have worked and studied now with leaders in the Koi industry and I am passionate about making a difference for the Koi. As a vegetarian and whole health advocate, I have applied my knowledge on holistic healing within my own family and with my own Koi and have seen amazing results for their true authentic living." - Love & Light... Studying Japanese culture for so many years, it was natural for her. The history of the Nishikigoi amazed M. To see the colors and patterns that are bred today, and to know the history that it all began from the common carp, expanded her awareness as a fine art photographer. Clients that came for her photography, became intrigued with her Japanese Gardens and her Koi. It was when she rescued her first Koi that she knew she had to make a difference.
As an international award winning infrared photographer, Japanese Garden Designer and Koi Importer, M became known as The Koi Whisperer. It is an honor and a privilege and she has transformed her gallery and darkroom into The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary and the KWS Koi Lab.
The Koi Whisperer is a registered Nishikigoi Dealer in Japan and imports Koi for her clientele, while continuing her Koi Rescues and having Koi placed through The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary's "Adopt a Koi". The KWS Aquatics Director, Splashtastic - Aquatics designs both new and redesigned Koi Ponds that are in the best interest for the health of the Koi. M lectures on Koi, has created a Kids for Koi at the Koi Whisperer Sanctuary but most importantly M has designed a Holistic Koi Care™ program. "Our Holistic Koi Care program here at The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary is based on my philosophies that all potential contributing factors which may and can affect a Koi and their well being are taken into consideration when assessing Koi and their overall health.
